Signs of love on the streets of Winnipeg

If romance doesn’t send you running into the arms of the one you love, the cold in Winnipeg surely should.inset - Antique_Valentine_1909_01 romantic spotsIf you’re not sure where to even look for love, Confusion Corner Bar & Grill is an appropriate place to start. From there, you can stir up some romance in Le Café D’Amour on Osborne St. If at first sight it’s just not amour, it’s alright. Struggling singles let off steam on Yelle Street in St. Boniface. Thankfully, it’s only a few blocks long (and your yelling should probably be in French). Now that you’ve attracted the wrong kind of attention, leave. But know, too, that lovers linger on Easy Street. It’s short and sweet (and oddly shaped like a gun!). For fast chances at romance that might not last, you’ve found the right spot. For those seeking one true love, head straight to the place where relationships are made – Romance Lane. Everyone looks fondly at each other there. We'd imagine that the neighbours can be spotted in a tight embrace as you walk by with your sweetheart, hand in hand. Surely the postal carrier has a bag full of love letters. Winnipeg may be cold in February, but signs of love are sure to warm things up.
