Silverton shines in the Southwest

Some of the best new communities are found in Calgary’s southwest, but one is standing out for its offering of comfort, convenience and choice—the master-planned community of Silverton. And it’s just getting started.

Silverton is Cardel Homes’ second community in Calgary, following the highly successful Shawnee Park, which is currently underway. As in Shawnee Park, Cardel is exclusively building the single-family homes in Silverton. Silverton is going up in a largely developed area of the southwest. North of 194th Avenue and just west of Macleod Trail, it is surrounded by existing amenities that residents can already enjoy.

Immediately south of Silverton is the West Macleod area, which has seen explosive growth over the past decade. There are already commercial centres, restaurants and diners, schools, and abundant recreational areas nearby.

And with an LRT station planned for the not-too-distant future, this progressive new neighbourhood will connect residents to city-wide possibilities.

Lots to choose from

Silverton will be a vibrant, urban, progressive community with a wide selection of homes to fit any budget.

Already selling are single-family front garage homes, including top-selling models with exceptional design options; laned homes on deeper lots for larger backyards; and paired (duplex) homes on premium park-facing lots.

  • Front-garage homes start in the $680,000s and range from 1,800 to 2,300 square feet, with up to five bedrooms.
  • Laned homes start in the $600,000s and range from 1,400 to 1,700 square feet.
  • Paired homes start in the $540,000s and range from 1,400 to 1,600 square feet.

All home types have the potential for legal secondary basement suites.

Coming soon are their Edge Street Towns (fee-simple townhomes with no condo fees) and the Metro One apartment condos.

Multi-family excitement

Adding to the excitement is the introduction of Metro One, Cardel Homes’ ambitious first condo development in Silverton.

This project is a significant milestone for Cardel, as Metro One marks the launch of their multi-family product line under the Cardel Homes brand.

Metro One will have all the signature aspects of the Cardel brand: exceptional design with enhanced standard features, high quality, a focus on healthy living, and affordability.

Metro One will consist of four four-storey wood-frame buildings, distinctly designed with Cardel’s modern-vintage architecturural style. The development will include a total of 304 suites.

There are seven floorplans ranging from 554 to 1,060 square feet to suit a variety of lifestyles, including singles, couples, retirees, and young families. Layouts include one-bedroom, one-bedroom + den, two-bedroom, and two-bedroom corner suite options. Prices start in the $300,000s.
