StateView Homes looking forward to another year of giving

For StateView Homes, giving back to the greater community is as important as creating new home communities. In addition to looking forward to opening new home collections across the GTA in 2022, the company’s executives and employees are excited to continue the charitable work they do to help the families of those in need.

Ongoing support

One example is their ongoing support of Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). StateView has been supporting fundraising efforts for the hospital since the firm was founded in 2009. Everyone at StateView feels passionate about helping families with children, who sometimes call SickKids a temporary “home” when they are seriously ill or injured. In 2021 alone, StateView donated more than $120,000. Part of that was being a sponsor and Matching Gift donor for SickKids GetLoud initiative. This annual event raises funds that go toward the building of a new children’s hospital, continued breakthrough discoveries, and partnering with healthcare groups to deliver world-class care to more kids outside the hospital walls.

Many builders, including StateView Homes, zero in on causes that mean something to them personally. The company’s president of sales, Julian Uccello, is the inspiration for StateView’s most recent charitable cause: MS4MS (Mission Stadiums for Multiple Sclerosis). Julian was a pro soccer player in Italy until he was diagnosed with MS in 2011. Today, he is the Lead Soccer MS Warrior Ambassador for this non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the disease. Fundraising efforts go toward helping the families of loved ones who have the disease, and to the advancement of research at Johns Hopkins Project Restore MS Research Centre, in the hopes of finding a cure. In 2021, Julian set up a Go Fund Me page to raise funds in a special walk, during which he attempted to walk two km a day for 16 days straight. He raised $35,000, all of which went to MS4MS.

Excellent reputation

With the company’s excellent reputation for creating superb new homes in outstanding settings, as well as putting homeowners’ needs first, their communities always sell out quickly. Cutting edge architecture and design, creativity, craftsmanship, superior customer service and philanthropy are hallmarks of the StateView brand. StateView’s customer service iCare program; Comfort+ smart tech program; and Harmony Package that saves water and energy are all important contributors to the success of the company’s communities.
