The much-awaited Myst Urban Towns by the Lake are here, as the grand opening was slated for mid-November. Myst will feature a collection of Garden, Terrace and Village towns located on a parcel of land between North Service Road and Lakeview Drive, just off Fruitland Road. There will be 136 townhomes in total.

Garden towns are bungalow units with finished basements, with two, two-storey Terrace towns built above. The Village townhomes are three-storey back-to-backs. Plans have both two- and three-bedroom options and range from 1,300 to more than 1,500 sq. ft. All townhomes will have single-car garages and prices will start from the mid-$300,000s.

Homes by DeSantis designed Myst to have a “coastal aesthetic,” featuring modern, straight edge brick, ledgestone and wood grain vinyl.A few of the interior features and finishes at Myst will include nine-ft. ceilings, open concept floorplans, gourmet kitchens with islands and breakfast bars, and expansive windows that allow natural light to inundate the living spaces.

President Gabriel DeSantis had this to say about the development: “A lot of attention has been paid to what’s going on in the GTA, but the Stoney Creek and Hamilton region is going through a tremendous revitalization all its own. This region may not get the same level of attention as the GTA, but with the GO Train extension and long-term demographics, opportunities here are equally strong. We believe in the tremendous value this location has to offer. Homes by DeSantis is very good at staying ahead of the curve, people want to live at the lake, they want luxury and easy access to major centres all at an affordable price. We deliver that in abundance at Myst.”

Located minutes from the shore of Lake Ontario, Myst is surrounded by a wealth of area amenities, including shopping centres, restaurants, waterfront attractions, parks, schools and grocery stores. There is also quick and easy access to the QEW, so getting to neighbouring cities such as Grimsby, Niagara Falls and the GTA is a breeze.

One of the most exciting neighbourhood developments near Myst is the planned GO Train expansion. There will be a new GO station called Stoney Creek Confederation in 2019 and another one, Grimsby Casablanca, by 2021. Confederation Station is located at the Centennial Parkway, just minutes from Myst! All of this makes Myst not only a convenient place to live but also a smart investment! New GO stations are built only where there is expected growth. Myst is your opportunity to get in early on Stoney Creek’s waterfront boom. Closings are scheduled for 2019-20, so you’ll be moving in around the same time the new station is being completed.
