The dynamic partnership behind successful multi-family builder/developer Cardel Lifestyles is beginning a new legacy with the launch of Logel Homes.

Tim Logel, president and co-founder of Cardel Lifestyles, in partnership with Ryan Ockey, president and CEO of Cardel Group of Companies, is proud to announce a new multi-family brand, Logel Homes, under his family name.

“Cardel Lifestyles is going forward as we start our new brand,” says Logel, now president and CEO of Logel Homes. “And our vision – being a leader in suburban multi-family development – remains the same for Logel Homes. We’re building a new brand for the long-term future and a legacy for my sons, Brayden and Kevin, and my brother Brad – all of whom are passionately involved in the business and the future of home building.

“Ryan and I have more than 35 years of working together and we’ve been involved in the sale and construction of over 6,000 single-family homes and 2,500 condos and townhomes, and I want to build on that with Logel Homes,” he says, noting that together they have completed 12 successful multi-family developments with another six underway.

For three years in a row (2015, 2016 and 2017), Cardel Lifestyles has won the Home Owner Mark ofExcellence award for exceptional customer experience in multi-family homes, a recognition based on CustomerInsight surveys with actual customers. Additionally, for the last two years, the organization’s been honored the ‘Canada’s Best Managed Companies’ award, becoming “the only multi-family company in Calgary to do so,” Logel says. “For 11 years in a row, more multi-family customers have chosen Cardel Lifestyles than any other builder. That’s a remarkable achievement and certainly a testament to what I refer to as my A-Team – a dedicated, hard-working group who are all focused on the same goals.”

In such a competitive industry, Logel points to this collaborative team effort as a core foundation from which the company strives. He sees the value in having sales, marketing, design, development, construction and service teams all under one roof. He adds, “I believe if you treat your team as a family, in turn our customers are treated like family.”

Logel and his team have also built strong relationships with consultants, trades and suppliers, developers and the City – all of whom share the same passion for design, quality, innovation and customer satisfaction.

“From the beginning we’ve focused on a goal of exceeding customers’ expectations and treating customers like we would want to be treated,” he adds, and the results have been positive with the completion of award-winning multi-family developments in Calgary’s master-planned communities.

“We’re setting the standard for multi-family in Calgary, and my vision for Logel Homes is to continue that – to provide quality-built condos and townhomes for every customer – from those just getting started with their first home, to more experienced customers looking to downsize.”

Logel Homes’ first multi-family development is Auburn Rise in Auburn Bay. The new development has 373 condos in five, four-storey buildings and offers a premium, amenity-rich location. The development is located right across from a Co-op grocery store, shops and services, three blocks from the lake, beach and beach house, a half-block from future LRT and three blocks from the South Health Hospital.

Auburn Rise presents 10 different plans that include one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts ranging from 467 to 1,020 sq. ft. and priced from a very affordable $139,900 up to $319,900.

“We are seeing first-time buyers looking to get into the market and a lot of Baby Boomers who are now selling their homes, many who were in Cardel homes who want to downsize,” Logel says, noting the size range and price point were designed to meet those demands.
