A versatile design, stylish functionality and a timeless allure, Coventry Homes’ Bianca is a family home for the ages. And the latest showhome in Marquis West checks all the boxes of a dream family home.

The new Bianca showhome opened early in the fall of 2023, and feedback has been very positive. “It has been very warmly received,” says Tara Van Horn, Director, Marketing & Design at Coventry Homes. “Everyone that has seen it says it feels big and bright.”

The positive reviews were to be expected as the Bianca has been one of Coventry Homes’ best-selling models. Its versatility is what makes it so unique, as it can answer a lot of lifestyle needs of buyers.

It has a roomy, open concept main floor that is perfect for entertaining, and it can have a side door entrance that enables an income suite to be developed in the basement, and much more.

“It is a very versatile plan, with several model-options to choose from, including a four-bedroom layout upstairs,” Van Horn says. “It can fit on a wide variety of lots, is affordable and highly functional.”

As an example of its versatility, another Bianca showhome opened in West Secord earlier in the year and it so much different than the one in Marquis West no one would think it was the same model. Furthermore, the Bianca is such a beauty that a showhome before that was even a finalist in the 2019 CHBA Edmonton Region Awards.

The new Bianca showhome in this young northeast Edmonton community of Marquis West will surely reap honours as well. “It boasts a European farmhouse style that is at once contemporary and timeless, with black frame windows that pop and make a statement in the space,” Van Horn says.

Hardwood stairs with white risers and Eastern style stringer for railing adds elegance to the home, and a stone fireplace gives it a cozy European feel. The stacked cabinetry in the kitchen is a nod to its tremendous functionality.

The 1,788 square-foot Bianca showhome in Marquis West has three bedrooms (with a fourth bedroom option available), two-and-a-half baths and a fully finished basement suite.

Some of the most loved features in this showhome is the popular Executive Chef package in the kitchen, and the Maximum Living finished basement option.

The Bianca’s Executive Chef kitchen is a stunner. It has elegant 1 ¼” -inch quartz countertops, two-tone cabinets in Natural Oak and Whitecap, and the nine-foot-tall ceilings throughout the main floor (and the basement) give it such an airy, spacious feel that makes the home feel larger.
“Many of us are spending more time in the kitchen making the dishes we love and even experimenting with some new ones. So, it’s no wonder that finding a home with a kitchen that feels incredible every time you step into it is becoming increasingly important for many new homebuyers,” Van Horn says.

The showhome’s upper floor is also delightfully designed to give each member of the family their privacy with a centrally located gallery that separates the master bedroom from the two other bedrooms. This ensures there will be enough room for young and growing families to live comfortably.

Homeowners will fall in love with the roomy master suite, which features a gorgeous five-piece ensuite and a spacious walk-in closet. The second floor also includes a handy laundry room designed with tile floors and enough space to answer all the laundry needs of a growing family.
The great room with its lovely fireplace is another favourite and is sure to invite pleasant conversations among friends. It’s a terrific spot to entertain and can be the place to create family memories, as it’s easy to imagine it decked out in festive décor for Christmas, Thanksgiving, or any other family gatherings.

The basement displays the home’s full potential with a Maximum Living package that includes a fireplace, an additional bedroom, with a full bath and craft area. It’s easy enough to converting the space into a legal suite or as one of Coventry Homes patented Edmonton Oilers’ Fancaves.
“Currently, we also have a limited time promotion offering free basement development for our pre-sale customers,” she adds.
In Marquis West, Coventry Homes starts from the $400,000s, while the Bianca models is from the low $500,000s.

The Bianca is one in Coventry Homes’ long line of fabulous front drive homes with double attached garage, three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths, and perfect though the showhome may already be, Coventry Homes is one of the rare builders that can improve on perfection. The Bianca can have as many as five bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths.

“Because it is so highly versatile, the Bianca is appealing to a wide variety of homebuyers – from families to young professionals to empty-nesters,” Van Horn says. “It is most-often sought after by budget-conscious buyers who are looking for a balance between space and affordability. It offers more space than a traditional starter home, but it is not overly large and the flexible layout options can accommodate an assortment of lifestyles.”

Living in Marquis West is its own reward, as this up-and-coming neighbourhood in Edmonton’s northeast has it all. “It is a safe and serene neighbourhood surrounded by forested ravines, the North Saskatchewan River is nearby and has a rare closeness to nature. Yet it is still close enough to Edmonton’s ring road to make it ideal for commuting and easy access to all sorts of amenities,” Van Horn says.

“Marquis West gives buyers the ability to live outside the hustle and bustle of the city while still being able to enjoy the great amenities the city has to offer.”
