These homes are not necessarily the biggest, most expensive, or luxurious, but they're undoubtedly the strangest. The masterminds behind these houses are certainly bold – and we love them for it! Here are the top eight strangest homes built from the most unusual materials.

This house, located in Houston, Texas, has become a well known folk art icon. In the 1960s, the creator (and apparent beer aficionado) John Milkovisch transformed his home using more than 50,000 flattened beer cans and bottle caps. The Beer Can House is owned and operated by The Orange Show Centre for Visionary Art.
