Winter is finally here, and there are a ton of fun activities and events taking place. Here are the top 10 winter events and activities in Calgary.
1. CP Holiday Train
When: On now to Dec. 18

Four heritage homes in Calgary will welcome residents to experience some of their old holiday rituals. Visitors can take part in Christmas caroling, gingerbread cookie decorating and snow painting. 4. Outdoor Skating
When: Mid to late Dec. to Feb.
Time to dig out those dusty skates and hit the ice. The City of Calgary has re-opened its skating rinks for the season. In addition to the roster of city-run rinks, there are dozens more in other neighbourhoods across Calgary. Visit the Calgary Communities website to find your nearest rink.
5. Tobogganing
When: Until the snow disappears!
