Minto's Amanda Wilson Watkins headshotAs with most things Yorkville, Minto’s newest condo is an opportunity paved in gold, so to speak. Maybe it’s the cachet of this coveted community, or maybe it’s the great value, but homebuyers jumped at the chance to get a piece of Minto Yorkville Park with more than 3,000 registrations in a three-month window prior to launch, and 350 appointments in the sales centre at its grand opening event.

We chatted with Amanda Wilson Watkins, vice-president of marketing and sales for Minto Communities, about Yorkville, luxurious living, and why you need to be here.

New Condo Guide: Why did Minto choose this location at Bellair and Cumberland?

Amanda Wilson Watkins: Yorkville is among the most convenient locations in the city, with immediate access to two subway lines and Yorkville Park is steps from Bay station. But you don’t have to stray far to enjoy the best that they city has to offer, with an impressive walk score of 100. It’s an incredible investment, as prices are expected to continue appreciating.

NCG: What’s the most luxurious feature at Minto Yorkville Park?

AWW:The amenity spaces are unbelievably beautiful. I absolutely love the outdoor terrace by Paul Ferris. It will offer residents a really intimate seating area around a full-height fireplace, which I think will be a great spot to unwind and enjoy a glass of wine. The best part about it is that it connects to a spacious outdoor entertainment lounge that is exquisitely designed, so the space can be used year round. With the option of barbecuing outdoors, or using the chef’s catering kitchen, this will be a wonderful area to host dinner parties.
