It’s a home innovation we’re sure that even the Flintstones will appreciate. But rest assured, the modern stone age family will have nothing on Bedrock Homes’ new home automation system that is now a standard in all its homes.

Bedrock Homes is introducing the Brilliant Smart Home Automation system that will come standard with every home purchase.

“Some homes are smart, ours are Brilliant!” says Bedrock Homes marketing manager, Laura Box. In a world of technology at your fingertips, “using your home how you want to interact it with it is more important than ever,” she adds.

Bedrock’s Brilliant Home comes standard with a Brilliant Control Panel. “It enables you to choose the best way you want to interact with your home: touch on the control panel, voice, motion or all-in-one app. Video door bell, smart front door lock, smart garage door, smart thermostat, plus set up of all the devices with Master Craftsman Warranty.”

The Brilliant Home Control allows homeowners to control their lights, climate, front door and more through the control panel located conveniently on the main floor of the home.

Swipe up or down to control the lights, built-in Alexa or Google Assistant provides added convenience, intercom function opens communication between rooms, and the front doorbell camera adds a level of security for the home.

Box says if you were purchasing this package yourself from one of the big box stores, the total retail price would be about $2,000, “and that does not include install or warranty of the services.”

Five of Bedrock Homes’ show homes are already equipped with the Brilliant Smart Home automation system for everyone to try out. The Callie in Robinson, Leduc; The Catalina in Kinglet by Big Lake; The Ruby and The Elena in Hills of Charlesworth; and The Callie in Maple Crest.

“It’s technology that will last the test of time. Convenient living at your fingertips. Buyers can even expand further to other smart home devices such as smart appliances, smart showers, speakers, etc. It also adds resale value when the time comes.” She adds.

Part of the Carrington Group of Companies, the family-owned and -operated Bedrock Homes has always been on the cutting edge of home design, and their new home automation program is a continuation of this philosophy.
Affordability is key as well. Their single-family home with a designer kitchen, luxury vinyl plank flooring, quartz countertops, double car garage and so much more starts at just $329,900!

For over 20 years, Bedrock Homes has built a name for itself in Metro Edmonton and Central Alberta for its award-winning line of family-friendly, lifestyle-oriented homes.

“Our goal is to design, build, and market homes incorporating the newest technology with unsurpassed quality and service at affordable prices to create lasting value for our clients,” Box says.

“We care about how our homeowners use and interact with our homes. We have built over 4,000 homes and treat our homeowners more than just a number – they have trusted us to deliver a quality home at an affordable price and a lifestyle they deserve.”
