Many former factories surrounding the area have been repurposed as different eateries, fitness studios, unique furniture stores and art galleries. BMO Field, on the CNE grounds to the south is home of Toronto FC, which draws the sports enthusiasts too.
Dollars & Sense
The neighbourhood may not be ideal for families or couples that are planning to expand. With one- and two- bedroom condos dominating the market, there are a limited amount of larger homes. If driving is the preferred method of travel, be prepared for some traffic, as there are few exits from Liberty Village, and parking is expensive and inconvenient – tickets are plentiful as the lots are constantly monitored.
