Coventry Homes has always prided itself in the family-friendly appeal of their homes, but the effort in making them just as stylish and beautiful as they are functional has always been their biggest strength.

Their award-winning line of showhomes underlines just how seriously the renowned Edmonton-based homebuilder takes this responsibility. And its stellar line-up of 2025 showhomes has already exceeded all expectations.

Coventry is particularly excited for the Fall when they open new showhomes in Rivers Edge and Keswick.

“We opened, earlier this summer, the Lyra in West Secord and the Odessa in Riverside in St. Albert,” says Tara Van Horn, Director of Marketing & Communications at Coventry Homes.

Excitement is ramping up for The Kail in Rivers Edge and its “Timeless Nantucket” design. “This home blends coastal charm with timeless elegance. Think bead board detailing, light blue cabinetry, a stone fireplace, polished nickel details, grasscloth wallpaper and natural accents like wicker, stone, and warm woods. It’s fresh yet warm and features our signature Team Player Lifestyle Package® – an Oilers-themed bedroom that is sure to be a fan favourite.”

Also getting plenty of buzz is The Kepler in Keswick which has a “Modern Haven” design. A sleek, contemporary design with a softer side. Bold black-and-white granite, wood slat features, deep black accents, and clean lines create a sophisticated, modern vibe – but the cozy layout ensures it still feels inviting and livable.

To heat up the season even more, Coventry has a Free Basement Promotion which has now been expanded to include Quick Possession homes as well as presale homes. “It’s exactly what it sounds like – your basement is on the house… literally – making it easier to get the extra space you need without stretching your budget.” Go to coventryhomes.ca for more.

Van Horn says showhomes are an important part of the new homebuilding business as they allow prospective buyers to see the full potential of the how and why it can fit their lifestyle, but also showcases the builder’s expertise and values.

“Visiting a showhome in person is the best way to turn ‘I think I like this floorplan’ into ‘this feels like home.’ Buyers can explore every detail from the flow of the layout to the quality of the finishes and picture how they’d live in the space. They’ll also get ideas for décor, storage solutions, and functional upgrades they might not have considered.”

The new Lyra Showhome in West Secord features a large foyer that opens up to the central kitchen with rear dining nook and great room. The walk-though pantry leads directly from the kitchen to mudroom with built-in storage. The main floor feels open and spacious and the warm wood accents, travertine tile and modern glass create a “California Contemporary” design. The bonus room sits at the top of the stairs of the second floor with the primary suite located at the front of the home. A laundry room, main bath and two additional bedrooms complete the second floor.

Lifestyle Packages featured in this 2,282-square-foot, four-bedroom home include the Executive Chef Built-in® and Maximum Living® packages.

The Executive Chef® Built-in is the way of the future for kitchen design. Built-in appliances are sleek, stylish, convenient to use and look custom, without the high price tag. Lead the revolution; change the look of your kitchen.

While the Maximum Living® package transforms the basement, once known to be cold and cramped, into a space as comfortable and beautiful as the rest of your new home. “With Maximum Living® by Coventry Homes you get basement house plans that let you maximize your home’s square footage by turning the basement into a liveable place. And why not?” Van Horn says.

The Kepler has been one of their most popular models, in addition to the soon-to-open model in Keswick, Coventry recently opened a Kepler showhome in Rosemont, which has already been a hit.

This stunning 2,130-square-foot Kepler showhome showcases a natural palette accented by hues of terracotta, seafoam, and mustard, creating a warm and vibrant atmosphere. The main floor boasts a spacious open-concept design connecting the kitchen, dining, and great room, along with a den featuring custom arched built-in shelves. Upstairs, the Kepler offers a front bonus room with vaulted ceilings, two additional bedrooms, and a serene rear primary bedroom with a luxurious ensuite. For hockey enthusiasts, the fully customized Oilers® Fan Cave in the basement is a true standout.

“Our showhomes are designed to spark inspiration while providing practical insight into how different floorplans suit different lifestyles. It’s not just about seeing a house, it’s about discovering the possibilities for your next home, in a community that fits your life,” Van Horn says. Find out more at coventryhomes.ca
