The promise of a quiet suburban lifestyle is found in the young community of Carrington South, but what makes it so special is that all this tranquility is in the heart of the most dynamic sector in Calgary.

Carrington South is part of the New North that has seen some of the most explosive growth in the city in recent years. “Carrington South is an amazing neighbourhood, it’s closest to the downtown among all the New North communities this side of 144th Avenue NW. It’s also not as congested because of the predominance of single-family homes,” he points out.

He says the new Street Towns will have “unmatched style and design” and no condo fees. “Thoughtful layouts give you the open space typically found in single-family homes,” Dhaliwal says.

Trico Homes says they are as glad to be part of such a unique, boutique community and their brand of front-drive homes have been a big part of the community’s success. “Carrington South is one of the most attractive communities to buyers due to the following factors,” says Trico Homes area manager, Erica Lowe.

“It has great accessibility to the major roads like Stoney Trail, Deerfoot Trail and Symons Valley Road. This community is also enriched with pathways and beautiful views of the ponds, a skate park, and two playgrounds. She adds that their homeowners really like living in the community. “They are really enjoying the fact that the commercial plaza has opened in the area – giving them access to a No Frills, McDonalds, and Shell Gas Station.”
Lowe says Trico Homes will have their anniversary model, The Encore, as part of their offerings in Carrington South. “We will have new walkout lots coming in the new phase as well.”

Excel Homes offers laned and front-drive garage homes in Carrington South, and the builder that is celebrating their 35th anniversary this year promises exciting new models to mark the milestone will be added to the line-up.
