Jayman BUILT founder honoured

Spring is turning out to be a milestone season for Jay Westman, as the visionary Chairman & CEO of Jayman BUILT received a couple of prestigious honours and as the company he co-founded won big again at the BILD Calgary Region Awards.

Westman is the recipient of the 2025 Canadian Business Leader Lifetime Achievement Award from the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. The award recognizes visionary leaders who have shaped Canada’s economic future, strengthened industries, and made a lasting impact on the communities they serve.

April also saw him celebrated as the Distinguished Friend of the Institute at the 2025 Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) Celebrates Awards. Westman was recognized for his visionary leadership and generosity - donating $2M to NAIT and SAIT on his 65th birthday in 2022 to establish the BILD Alberta Scholarship for Construction Careers.

To top it off, Jayman BUILT won as Builder of the Year, Single-Family – Large Volume at the 2024 BILD Calgary Region gala awards. It was the homebuilders second straight year to win this award.
