Spooky season is here! Our city always delivers on a ghoulishly good time in October, but one of my favourite Halloween events is just north of Edmonton at Prairie Gardens Adventure Farm. Take a trip to the popular Bon Accord destination and visit the annual Haunted Pumpkin Festival – now in its 27th year! This family-friendly celebration is on every weekend this month, and it’s filled with both fall and Halloween delights. Take a stroll through ghost town with Ghost Walks to the Elm Street Cemetery, or put your bravest foot forward at the Haunted Farm House! If haunts aren’t your thing, there’s still plenty to enjoy – like pumpkin displays, an indoor heated greenhouse pumpkin patch (for those chilly evenings!) and the Kompany Family Theatre Pumpkin Corny-val, which brings ghost stories, pumpkin bowling, races and juggling to the festival line-up this year.
