People’s Choice Awards celebrate excellence and innovation in GTA homebuilding

As new home and condominium developments spring up in the GTA, you may find you have your favourites, those special projects that really catch your eye. BILD is inviting you to take a look at 10 new developments, shortlisted through our annual BILD Awards, and vote for the one that captures your attention. The winning project will receive BILD’s People’s Choice Award.
The People’s Choice is one of the most coveted honours in the BILD Awards, which celebrate excellence and innovation in the GTA homebuilding industry. That’s because it’s particularly meaningful for builders and developers to be recognized by the very people for whom they build homes and communities: The people of the GTA.
People’s Choice Award finalists
Ambria Homes’ Presto Modern Towns is a townhome community in Scarborough. It features one, two- and three-bedroom stacked townhomes with patios and rooftop terraces.
Capital Developments, Metropia and RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust are behind 11 Yorkville, a 62-storey building at Yonge and Bloor streets. It boasts elegantly proportioned architecture and offers a sophisticated lifestyle.
CityPointe Commons, by DECO Homes, OPUS Homes, Poetry Living and TACC Developments, is a complete community of about 300 single-family homes and townhomes at the crossroads of Brampton, Vaughan and Toronto.
Junction Point, by Gairloch Developments, embodies the Junction’s architectural characteristics. All three sides of the development are equally visible and animated, from the commercial activity on Dundas Street West to the quiet residential character of Brad Street and Indian Road.
Angus Glen South Village by Kylemore Communities/Angus Glen Developments comprises the southwest portion of the former York Downs golf course in Markham’s Unionville. It features a mix of townhomes, detached homes and boutique condo buildings.
One Delisle, by Slate Asset Management, is a building of architectural ingenuity and engineering innovation. Its spiral shape provides a variety of floor plans for residences, most of which feature balconies and landscaped terraces.
Savile on the Roe by Tiffany Park Homes is a community of 28 luxury townhomes, with generous front and back yards and private rooftop terraces. The interiors are designed to maximize space visually, with sweeping rooms finished in the finest materials.
StateView Homes’ The Enclave is a gated community of homes distinguished by style and charm, steps to the shops and restaurants of Kleinburg Village. It combines the advantages of detached living with the conveniences of condo living.
MRKT Alexandra Park by Tridel, in the heart of Toronto, is the third phase in the master-planned Alexandra Park community revitalization. The 15-storey building features contemporary architecture and sustainable design.
Tridel’s Royal Bayview in Thornhill is a midrise residence comprising two towers. Its suites and terraces overlook the greenery of a private golf club.
