Pratt Homes launches Elements Condominiums in Barrie

Pratt Homes, the largest new-home builder in Barrie, has recently launched something brand new as a direct response to living through a global pandemic.
The company is introducing Elements, a new community with the principles of biophilic design, to improve condo owners’ health and well-being.
The concept incorporates direct and indirect elements of nature (water, fire, earth and air) through a collection of experiences that are proven to enhance one’s quality of life.
Nature-focused design
“By taking a nature-focused design approach, residents will be reconnected to their inherent need to experience the four elements of nature in the modern built environment,” says company representative Karen Hansen.
On the exterior, Elements will feature outdoor waterfall features, social areas around gas fire pits, live Green roofs over the entryways, outdoor gym and track, covered bicycle racks and electric car charging stations.
On the interior, the building will feature a foyer with large windows, a live tree, and water and fire features, an exercise room with a view, water and air filtration systems in each unit, and oversized, four-season glass solarium balconies.
As a bonus feature, custom art installations by world renowned sculptor, Ron Baird, depicting his interpretation of water, fire, earth and air, will be integrated into the experience of living at Elements Condominiums.
Healthy choices
Pratt Homes is putting an emphasis on lowering stress levels and encouraging healthy choices while remaining connected to nature.
“We have responded to the world we live in with residents spending more time at home,” says Hansen. “Elements Condominiums is a direct response to living through COVID-19 and experiencing lockdowns.”
Elements comprises three midrise buildings with a total of 346 units, starting in the high $500,000s. There are one-, two- and two-bedroom plus den suites available, ranging from 700 to 1,300 sq. ft. Each will offer an oversized solarium balcony that will literally have condo owners immersed within nature’s elements year-round.
Elements Condominiums is located in southeast Barrie, perfectly positioned for city living, with proximity to amenities such as the GO station, and yet is a short distance to four-season adventure throughout Barrie and Simcoe County.
