The charms of Cantiro’s Park View Single-Family Homes - Cover Story
September 1, 2021
The convenience of an attached garage home, the curbside charm of a laned home, and the budget-friendly attainability of a starter home – they all come together in Cantiro Homes’ most innovative offering yet: Park View Homes.
Cantiro’s Senior Marketing Manager, Kim Tieu, says Park View homes combine “industry-leading design centered around function, beauty and the unparalleled ability to build value” into every square-inch of the home.
“Our Park View homes are a brand-new home style. They’re not the typical single-family home in a sense that it can’t be easily categorized as either front-attached, nor rear laned home,” she tells Edmonton New Home + Condo Guide.
Park View homes have a park -facing front entrance and a double attached-garage at the back of the home for the utmost convenience, along with three levels of living space. All at an affordable price.
“Park View homes makes the dream of owning a single-family home a reality for our buyers, especially for first time buyers who have previously ruled out single family as being outside of their budget,” Tieu says.
Cantiro’s Park View line of single-family homes have three finished floors as a standard. The ground floor includes the rear, double-attached garage, a family entrance or mudroom, and – depending on the model – a spacious flex room, a home office, entertainment room or playroom.
The open-concept main floor level extends out to an expansive 10-by-18-foot private outdoor lounge overlooking greenspace. “It sits atop the ground floor, so it feels like your own rooftop patio,” Tieu says. While the top floor has two- or three-bedrooms and a convenient upstairs laundry.
There are three Park View floor plans to choose from: the 1,981 square-foot Family Park View, the 1,752 Career Park View, and the 1,877 square-foot Entertain Park View.
Each Park View home has floor-to-ceiling windows on every level to maximize indoor natural light in every floor. Buyers also get a landscaped front yard that directly connects to over 30 acres of parkland that the southeast community of the Hills at Charlesworth is famous for.
The idyllic, inspiring park landscape of the Parks at Charlesworth is, in fact, how Park View gets its name, Tieu says. Cantiro just opened new Park View show homes here (Entertain and Career models) to give interested parties a taste of the lifestyle that awaits.
Most importantly, Park View homes are part of Cantiro’s new Life Collection of homes that makes owning a single-family home more attainable than ever, Tieu says.
As part of Cantiro’s Life Collection, each home has been meticulously designed for how their customers truly live. The Life Collection gathers the “Family Series” “Career Series” and “Entertain Series,” and each is reflected in Park View’s offerings
The Family Park View – all about simplifying family life. The emphasis on design is placed on getting family members in and out of the home with ease, have a functional, open kitchen and tons of storage, Tieu explains.
Career Park View is all about supporting work/life balance. “The design focus is on spaces that can be utilized for uninterrupted focus for the working couple as well as an elevated primary suite/ensuite to reward yourself after a long day,” she adds.
While Entertain Park View is designed for those that love hosting. “The design focus is on creating a space that is inviting and comfortable for your guests and facilitates mingling and great conversations,” she says.
Each Park View home has nine-foot high ceilings on the main floor, and a smart home package that includes a smart thermostat, doorbell camera, an overhead garage door with Wi-Fi connectivity, and an integrated hub.
“Also, as part of the Life Collection, finishes for the Park View homes are chosen from our four Interior Styles – four professionally-curated designs that offer a completely cohesive look filled with elevated finishes and high-end brand throughout the home. It offers our buyers a seamless process, incomparable value and uncompromising design in their home,” Tieu says.
These four styles are called Midsummer, Shoreline, Obsidian and Nordic Elements. They include LVP flooring on the main floor, Caesarstone countertops throughout, Kohler faucets, a designer lighting package, backsplash tile, as well as coordinated details – including matching hinges, tile trim, handles and hardware.
Interested parties are encouraged to view Park View show homes for themselves to truly understand this innovative offering at 403 and 409 39 Street S.W. Both homes are open for self-guided tours.
Cantiro – formerly Beaverbrook Communities & Dolce Vita Homes – exists to create the “environments for amazing lives to happen,” Tieu says.”. As part of our ability to integrate the various branches of Cantiro, the Park View homes was a true collaborative project that was conceptualized to offer a unique product with incredible views and access to the rich amenities of the Hills at Charlesworth, at an amazing value for our buyers.” There’s even more to look forward to when Cantiro launches several more similar homes in future communities.
