The East Village - Be the first Villager!

The East Village is Calgary’s newest old neighbourhood and is blossoming into a bustling vibrant community. With the National Music Centre nearing completion and the many residential towers opening to residents soon, the East Village is one of the most exciting places to be in Calgary.

The folks behind the East Village Experience think so too, which is why they are on the hunt for the Village’s first Resident Ambassador. This incredible opportunity comes in the form of living in the East Village for one year, completely rent-free in two of the riverfront condo developments, Evolution and FIRST.

The lucky Calgarian will be ‘hired’ as a representative to share on social media this new neighbourhood as it unfolds around them. Instagram-ing and YouTube-ing their way through the East Village’s biggest developments from the new Central Public Library to the re-opened Simmons Building (filled with local favourites Phil & Sebastian, Charbar and Sidewalk Citizen Bakery), the resident ambassador will show the rest of Calgary just how awesome it is to live there.

The application is simple; all you need to do is create a 15 to 30 second video of yourself declaring why you would be the perfect candidate to be the East Village’s resident ambassador. Get to it because you could be living the Villagers life very soon!
