Toronro Area: The Jack by Aspen Ridge
December 14, 2015
Aspen Ridge offers exceptional location, lifestyle and luxury at The Jack — the company’s condominium in Toronto’s prestigious Rosedale neighbourhood. The Jack is steps to the significant Yonge Street and St. Clair Avenue intersection, close to Rosedale’s manor homes, boutiques, parkland and the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club. The vicinity is also home to Yorkville’s fine dining restaurants, world-class shopping and galleries; Deer Park and the Rosehill Valley Ravine’s lush green space and trails; the scenic Mount Pleasant Cemetery and the Vale of Avoca viaduct; and the Summerhill subway stop.
Designed by Les Klein of Quadrangle Architects, the intimate 11-storey boutique residence encompasses fewer than 140 suites. Its timeless contemporary limestone exterior is highlighted by terraces, balconies and sculptures surrounded by cornice mouldings and plaster details. Inside, concierge, valet, security and lifestyle management services will be offered from the lobby. The entry will feature stone panel wall moulding and wide plank wood flooring in a traditional chevron pattern — a level of appointments that will be carried through the hallways, where three banks of elevators will provide efficient service.
On the second floor, Club Jack will feature a fitness area with weights, cardio machines and a yoga space where residents can keep active even in inclement weather. Also part of Club Jack, the party room has a chef prep kitchen, dining area, lounge, bar, billiards table and an outdoor barbecue terrace, ideal for entertaining a crowd. Topping off the exclusive amenities will be a tranquil rooftop garden.
Aspen Ridge enlisted II By IV Design to appoint the amenity spaces as well as the model suite furnishing and finishing. “Our goal was to reflect the Upper Rosedale vibe in the model,” says II By IV Design’s Dan Menchions. “It’s stylish, sophisticated and comfortable, which is what today’s elite buyers want.”
Among the deluxe standard appointments are five-inch plank engineered flooring and nine-ft. smooth ceilings. Gourmet-inspired kitchens have a Miele appliance package, Hansgrohe faucet, European-style cabinetry, Hardrock maple interiors, back-painted glass backsplash, Caesarstone or granite countertops, and a large island with storage and seating (as per plan). The bathrooms are appointed with porcelain tiles, Hansgrohe faucets and a frameless shower enclosure. Some purchasers are opting to add upgrades such as a Miele built-in coffee machine and contour microwave, heated tile areas, a custom A/V package and customized closets.
Sizes for the one- to two-bedroom plus den plus terrace layouts range from 533 to 2,110 sq. ft., and prices begin from the $400s.
The principals at Aspen Ridge Homes come from a long line of distinguished homebuilders — a tradition of excellence in quality and care that extends back over 25 years. The Jack is an outstanding example of how Aspen Ridge continually raises the bar for excellence in everything from design to craftsmanship and client care.
