Bloor Street has long been home to some of the city’s most highly sought-after luxury destinations. Boasting a litany of world-class brand names, Bloor Street includes iconic signatures like Holt Renfrew, Gucci, Hermes and Louis Vuitton. Immediately identifiable, these brands convey elegance, style and success.

The start of 2017 saw another impactful name added to Bloor Street’s roster of leading brands with the arrival of Tridel, and its new Via Bloor community.

Following an overwhelming response from the marketplace and an impressive sales success for phase one, Tridel is now releasing Via Bloor 2. Jim Ritchie, Tridel’s executive vice-president of sales and marketing, notes that the velocity of Via Bloor’s sales have “exceeded our expectations. The demand for this downtown Bloor Street project is so strong, that we’ve expedited the launch of the community’s second tower earlier than we had anticipated.”

Designed by architectsAlliance, Via Bloor 2 is a 45-storey tower with a distinctive rounded façade, providing excellent views in all directions.

“The Bloor and Parliament location is without parallel,” Ritchie notes. “We are creating a new gateway to the fashionable boutiques, chic restaurants and cultural institutions of Bloor Street. Our location puts us on the doorstep of some of Toronto’s most desirable neighbourhoods, including Rosedale, Yorkville, Greektown, Riverdale and The Village.”

The Via Bloor community is steps from the TTC’s Sherbourne and Castle Frank stations, and sits adjacent to the Don Valley and Rosedale ravine systems, while being just minutes from several of Toronto’s leading hospitals, public and private schools, and downtown colleges and universities including Ryerson, George Brown and U of T.

“With its unique position between the city’s best residential communities, commercial neighbourhoods, and its institutional and cultural centres, Via Bloor has an ideal location in downtown Toronto,” adds Ritchie. “But of course, it’s our well-designed suites, elegant finishes, and exciting amenities that ultimately define and elevate the Via Bloor experience.”

Via Bloor 2 offers a wide variety of suite designs, including its new Via Bloor Signature Collection. Starting from the 40th floor, the Signature Collection includes spacious suites ranging from 950 to 1,360 sq. ft. The beautifully designed kitchens and spa-inspired bathrooms feature the upgraded and quality material finishes that one would expect from a signature home. Suites in this collection begin from $865,000 and range to approximately $1.3 million.

Via Bloor 2 will also feature two exclusive penthouses on the top floor. These luxurious two-storey penthouses start from $2.76 million.

Undoubtedly, the amenities at Via Bloor are second to none. Designed by II by IV and spread out over 26,000 sq. ft. inside and out, amenity highlights include two luxurious lobbies with 24-hour concierge, an outdoor pool and terrace, games room, party rooms, spa lounge, fitness centre with spin and yoga studio, and a state-of-the-art theatre. Tridel will also be creating a widened, pedestrian-friendly promenade, complete with new retail opportunities and landscaped greenspace, together with architectsAlliance and Janet Rosenberg & Studio.

Targeting a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification, Via Bloor will offer cutting-edge Green features and state-of-the art technology including unlimited Internet connectivity and Tridel Smart Home wall pads as standard features.
