On March 28 Valecraft planned to participate in ‘Crush It For Cancer’ for The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. This fundraising initiative supports local research, clinical trials, and cancer coaching, as well as many other services, offered free of charge by the Cancer Foundation. Unfortunately this year the event was cancelled due to COVID-19. This, however, did not stop the Valecraft Homes team – Valecraft Velocity - from supporting the cause. They exceeded their goal and raised $15,107 to donate to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation programs that support families facing cancer. In total, a stunning $64,441 was raised for local cancer care.

Caivan Communities launches ‘Building Tomorrow Together’ initiative with local foundation

Caivan Communities and The Ottawa Mission Foundation have partnered together to establish the Building Tomorrow Together initiative to address those of us that are less fortunate but who share the same dream of having a warm and safe place to shelter.

For the remainder of 2020, Caivan will be contributing a donation of every new home sold in their communities of Orleans Village, Fox Run and The Ridge to The Ottawa Mission Foundation.

They have set a target of $150,000 by the end of 2020 to support the Mission’s life-changing services. For more information on these communities or this fabulous initiative, please visit www.caivan.com
