The residents and businesses of Kemptville created a Kreepy Kemptville Pumpkin Trail, with photo booths and a carving contest to help celebrate Halloween. With easy access to Hwy. 416 and home to four elementary schools, two high schools, a hospital, the Rideau River, nature trails, an amazing dog park, and eQuinelle, the award-winning golf course, it’s easy to see why Kemptville is a growing community! Register with the builder of your choice. Check with eQ Homes and Urbandale for availability and future releases, as well as Lockwood Brothers Construction and Westerra Homes.

Claridge Homes’ River’s Edge

I did a little reverse trick or treating when I visited Alessandra Rocha at the Claridge Homes’ sales centre for River’s Edge in rapidly growing Riverside South. Located by the Rideau River close to schools, shops, parks and nature trails, this sought-after area has plenty to offer with its selection of singles, bungalows, semi-detached and townhome designs.

Summit Series focuses on women in the industry

Time was well spent attending the PMA/CIBC Summit Series online last week.

This particular session was geared toward educating and inspiring women who are currently employed or want to become a part of the Residential Real Estate/Construction Industry in Ontario. The Women’s Summit, which included guest speakers from many different sectors of the building industry, was moderated by Andrew Brethour and Cheryl Rice of PMA Brethour Realty Group. It was a terrific panel, and the ladies involved had great advice and stories to share.

NextHome is one of the Summit Series sponsors. The series is designed to keep the industry informed and connected during COVID-19.
