Photo fun
eQ Homes and West of Main Design teamed up to spread a little joy by having a fun giveaway with an Instagram contest, which ended at midnight, April 3. The lucky entrant won three Sanfran stools, valued at more than $1,000, from the West of Main Shoppe and seen in the kitchen of the Oliver model home, located in eQ Homes’ Orleans community of Provence. For a virtual tour of the Oliver, visit eqhomes.ca; for more information about the stools or any other product in the Oliver, visit westofmain.com
Award-winning Pathways
Dun Skipper Drive in Pathways at Findlay Creek should probably be renamed Dun “Winner” Drive, since it is where six of 13 model homes from three different builders were 2019 award winners: Phoenix Homes’ Klondike Income Suite; eQ Homes’ the Firestone and Riviera; and Richcraft Homes’ the Pinefield, Addison and Fairhaven. Though not available for public viewing right now, all information, pics and floorplans can be found on each of the builders’ websites. Find the links listed in the Builder’s Index at the back of this issue of New Home + Condo Guide.
Virtual lot release
In an effort to still meet the needs of new-home buyers, Cardel Homes hosted its first virtual lot release at noon on Friday April 3. Four 38-ft. single-family lots were made available in its Blackstone community. Interested parties emailed their information to Cardel, and a lottery system followed.Virtual appointments were set up with buyers, and signatures were acquired electronically.
Access to builder information
With the Ontario Government designating residential construction as an essential service, builders are ensuring that buyers are able to access as much virtual information as possible – and making sure they and their team are easily accessible to clients via phone, email, social media and live chat. Virtual appointments are available for sales, and documents can be signed electronically.
