When it comes to sales teams, Mattamy Homes has developed an award-winning formula.

For an amazing four consecutive years, Mattamy has won the Sales Team of the Year – Single-Family award presented by BILD Calgary Region – earning its fourth award last month at the 2018 BILD Awards gala.

And adding even more to its success in this area, Mattamy’s sales teams also finished second in this category for the last four years including this year, and Mattamy was also a finalist in the 2018 Sales Team of the Year – Multi-Family award category.

“Our sales teams consistently do very well in the awards year-over-year,” says senior marketing manager Kayla Schultz. “The teams are very supportive of each other and strive for success with each sale. We are very proud of each of the members of the team and appreciate the wins! Each of our sales teams take great pride in providing the best homebuyer experience every day. For Mattamy sales teams to finish at the top of the class for sales achievement is a great accomplishment; it says a lot about our team and company.”

Mattamy also won the Best New Home – $255,000-$294,999 award and was a finalist for the Best New Home – $350,000-$414,999 and Best New Home – $485,000-$549,999 awards.

“To be recognized by industry peers is always a great feeling, especially when there is so much competition,” Schultz says. “The team is proud of all our accomplishments and the support overall, and we’re thankful for all of our Mattamy homeowners who chose to buy with us.”

The Best New Home award was won for The Madison End – a 1,329-sq.-ft. two-storey, urban townhome crafted in Mattamy’s Brownstone Colonial Elevation located along Sheriff King in Yorkville. This model is an end unit allowing for plenty of natural light with additional windows, a balcony upstairs off the bonus room, three bedrooms and a master ensuite.

“The rooms are sizable, allowing for individuals or families to have flexibility in how they decorate and live in the space,” Schultz says. “Like many townhomes, the main floor is open, but still offers a break in space between the kitchen, living and dining room areas. With a double attached garage off the rear, it creates a welcoming mud room area with unique built-in storage.”

Three other homes in Yorkville were finalists: The Jade, a 2,586-sq.-ft. two-storey that has an optional layout for a fourth bedroom; Berkley corner, a 1,968-sq.-ft. two-storey corner home highlighted by a wrap-around front veranda and a spacious master with a spa-like ensuite; and the Everett, a 1,875-sq.-ft. two-storey duplex, featuring a welcoming front porch and kitchen with built-in work station and show-stopping large circular island.

“Everett truly does not feel like a semi-detached home as it feels like a large single-family home; there is no shortage of space in this home,” Schultz says. “With the breezeway to the double attached garage, it naturally creates a patio area that is enclosed on three sides – large enough for a fire pit and ample seating. The options are endless here.”

Yorkville is Mattamy’s latest master-planned community located in southwest Calgary, offering a beautiful location nestled into the rolling foothills just north of the Sirocco Golf Course, adjacent to Spruce Meadows, and just across the street from the Silverado Shopping area.

Mattamy is also developer/builder for Cityscape and Carrington in North Calgary, and Southwinds in Airdrie.
